Weird… Works for me, I’ve just tested it. Please see the parameter section and the variable inside the configuration, maybe you made a mistake with them?

I run this job and notification was sent to the proper channel I added in the string parameter. 🙂

To be honest, I’ve never do that. 😀 But I asume that you can just use a simple string parameter or something like that, and then pass the variable (similar to passing variable to branch in git plugin, e.g. $slack_channel). 🙂

I have to run same job against multiple environments(e.g. prod, dev, qa) and for each individual run have to redirect notification to different channels.
